The Javier Marin Foundation In tune with his social commitment that goes beyond his artwork, Javier Marin has promoted various altruistic causes, through the donation of his own work or his participation in projects that have a direct impact on specific communities.
In 2013, the Javier Marin Foundation was created, as a non-profit organization, with a strategic structure that seeks to contribute to strengthening the social fabric through art and culture. Based in Mexico City, the Foundation operates diverse programs nationwide, in collaboration with a team of professionals in art and design.
As part of its Education Program more than 250 dialogues have been held between professionals and emerging artists (Encuentros) and six titles have been published which address the main problems that up-and-coming artists encounter in the pursuit of professionalization of their work in the art world (Puntal Collection).
Within the framework of the Collections Program, the Foundation has collaborated in the organization of fifteen national and international exhibitions, as well as in the protection of several important documentary archives.
